The trip takes you to the Marine Reserve surrounding Chumbe Island. The marine is protected and is in pristine condition where different species of marine life can be viewed. Whilst snorkeling, you can see Green Turtles, Stingrays, Moray and many colorful coral species.  There is also a nature Sanctuary Trail around this eco-friendly Island that allows you to walk through. In this forest you can see different species of birds and giant Zanzibar Coconut Crabs. On the island there is also a ruin of an ancient mosque and a 19th century British Naval Lighthouse that you can climb and take good photos if you are interested. An excellent seafood lunch is provided and soft drinks. Chumbe Island day trip should be booked two days in advance as it depends on the island’s occupancy. All operations and activities provided by Chumbe Island Coral Park. This tour cannot be booked more than four days in advance, as Chumbe Island has limited capacity and prioritze overnight guests.
